This is a painting my mom and I did, if you're wondering how that works out, we split the work. My mom's a much better painter than I am though. This painting was inspired by the painter Bob Ross. =] We used to have a book on how to paint landscapes and such, it was by Bob Ross, and that was how we got the picture idea. Prior to that, my mom's been painting for years.
Painted with oil paints on a canvas.

- My mom and I used a couple different references from photos and calenders and mushed everything together. So it wasn't actually base off of just one photo. It's a collaboration of different photos and scenes into one.

NICE!! 5/5
This place almost looks like my last home in Kodiak, Alaska. The mountain look familiar to me, the place looks like one of the fishing spots me and my family went to, and even the wild plants and trees seem so much like that on the island. I dunno about you, but I'll say this is a real place. Although the offset of it compared to where I once lived is; that there is more greenery here than that of the look of ol' Kodiak, or I could be wrong since I only lived there for 2 years. - Report As Spam
