Description:
Charcoal on white paper
This started as a simple concept sketch but something about it twas so striking that it became it's own independant piece. Charcoal is wonderful for contrast and I think it worked wonderfully for this woman wrapped in shadows.
Please comment. I love honest critiques. - Date: 08/04/2008

- Nice! I love the way you smudged the charcoal. How long did this take you?

- I'm not really sure I can tell you mds. I've been drawing for most of my life and faces have always been one of my favorite subjects. I've spent a lot of time learning all the details of a human face.
