Years ago I discovered a book series called Redwall by one Brian Jaques, about forest animals that pretty much act human. More recently I joined Fanfiction (dot) net and started writing Redwall (Sue-hunting) fics.
This is the digital painting I did of my Redwall self: an otter named Aelin.
I'm happy with the way it all turned out, overall. I used absolutely no dodge or burn tools. All the color you see was done with a paintbrush and a little blurring and smudging. - Date: 08/05/2008

Wow..that's neat, I really like the whole painted effect. I also love the gold sparkles that you worked into the picture <3.
One thing I noticed though: Two times, the gold sparkles are hair thin and mass over each other..I don't know if that was intentional, but it seems a little out of place/unnecessary. The areas I mean are 1. to the upper right and 2. slightly southwest of the otter's nose.
P.S Great job conveying the otter attitude <3. It's one of my favorite things about the creatures. - Report As Spam
