I completed this drawing at somewhere around 2:30 AM on January 11, 2009.
The tablet used is Paint Shop Pro 7. I worked for around seven hours on it, mostly on the shading. I modeled this after a drawingn that I entered into an arts festival, though this pose is much different than that.
I was going for a graphite look.
EDIT: I've slimmed down the outline, to make it look a little more like a drawing. I'm still debating color, and when I do color it, I'll submit it seperately. - Date: 01/11/2009

- it looks awsome! and it just needs to be lightened in more of the backround, cuz things closer 2 you look darker and sharper

- Yeah, you're right; it is a bit too dark. I guess I have a tendency to over-shade... sweatdrop I was thinking of lightening it up, but I've been too lazy lately.

- Ooh wow! I love the way this looks, the shinyness of it! The only fault I can find with it is that it seems just overall too dark. There isn't enough contrast between the lighter and darker colors.

- Nicely done, except the wings don't really connect to the body in a logical sort of way. They look like they were just stuck on. The feathery bit on the end of the tail is a nice touch. 4/5
