- Title: Hermit Crab, Vergil WIP

- Description: This is ONLY a WORK-IN-PROGRESS, so please don't be too harsh. Eventually I will redo it in oils on canvas.... Right now it's just a sketch on some printer paper, as well as some notes for the future painting. The reference is just one of two, but if I showed both references they would be hard to see. Basically I sketched the body of the hermit crab based on this pic, but I used a pic of a different shell for the shell I sketched.

- I paint pet portraits, and sometimes I paint portraits of random animals and try to sell the paintings. I also happen to own a couple hermit crabs, so they interest me. smile

- LOL... good thing I'm looking at this sketch again. I just realized that when I added this hermit crab to the other shell I had the shell upside down.... Bwahahaha. I must remember to turn it right-way-round for the painting.
