- If you want to learn to draw better, then I suggest drawing shapes. Get really good at shapes, and making them look 3d, then start breaking up objects around you into shapes and drawing them that way. :3

A good way to start is to find someone with a simple art style and try to redraw some of their stuff AS CLOSELY AS YOU CAN. (I started with Katy Coope and Masami Tsuda) Buy some art books and follow the directions. Pay attention to where your art deviates from theirs and try to improve that way. : ) It worked pretty well for me, but I still have a long way to go myself.
