- I like the idea, but you have a long way to go. I recommend drawing real people from observation before you dive into manga style drawing so you get a good solid grounding in anatomy and proportions. Also pay close attention to details: Where are her ears? What is her right hand doing? Where are the seams on her clothes? Right now the shape of her body makes it look like her skirt is falling off. It also is blowing in the opposite direction of her hair, and the shadow has no source.
