- Description: This is a painting of my patron saint, St. Helena. She was the mother of Constantine, and discovered the true cross. This is based loosely on paintings of her, as well as descriptions and my own little imagination. As you can tell, it sort of went wild. I did this painting for extra credit in theology 3 years ago. Its a bit dated, but still one of my favorites, at least among my own work. I would love to hear thoughts and am delighted to answer questions!
