- Description: This is a tattoo I'm getting eventually. It's a dragon koi. The story of the koi in tattoo history is that it's pretty much you, swimming up a stream your entire life. You encounter obstacles and issues, and you're always swimming against the current. The magical part of the story is that at the end of your life you (the koi fish) reach the top of the stream and turn into a fierce dragon and fly out of the stream, no longer held back by the water (over coming obstacles).
