- Description: It is amazing how simple boredom can lead you to take one of the nicest pictures. After taking a picture of the most random item I could find (a nearby salt shaker) I simply reduced the color in the background to make the fine shining details of such an over looked item stand out like a shiny new penny.

- I like your view but you should try using the rule of thirds next time. Just putting something in the middle doesn't make it really stand out as much and it doesn't seem very original. But still, I like your thinking.

- It's weird that the reflection in the salt shaker is colored when the rest isn't. The rest looks pretty good.
