- To those that said that is flower was hackeyed, apparently you did not see " I saw the rose one day in front of a friend's place and decided to see how well i can take a picture of a rose." This is a amture shot with a regular 3.2 pix camera. I am well aware that it is not a pro shot. And it was a rose. there are several variety of roses out there you just need to look.

- Wolvercote is right. The angle is bland, and the fact that you can see the whole flower makes it that way too. Also, that's not even a rose. I can't believe no one called you on this, but it's a different kind of flower. 3/5

- This is boring. Flower pictures are considered hackneyed, so if you don't want to make another hackneyed picture, you need to consider taking it from a different angle and adjusting the composition. The flower is smack dab in the middle, and you need to learn how to use the Rule of Thirds to prevent that.
