- In my honest opinion just plastering on a negative filter looks tacky. Negative-izing a photo often lessens the detail and makes the photo look washed out. Try blending parts of the photo with the negative or maybe only using it selectivly and along with other filters. You have a handle on editing photos you just need to work on your blending so that the filters you use are not as obvious.
