- Bad light. Bad background. Bad focus and bad costume... You need to try some more stuff out. Try going outside and use some props. Alice has the bread in the picture you posted. Maybe use two pieces of regular bread and give it a more Alice-y feel. With the picture you have, its just a picture of a fuzzy person in a dress sitting on the living room floor. Work with it a bit more.

- A little too much light and out of focus. Maybe get rid of the background and go sit in the grass outside, under a tree?
