...commercials where they have the really sad animals behind cages? Yeah that has this feel to it, but the dog was actually very happy to see me. I took a quick snap the second he stood still for a moment.
Although I think it's owners don't pay it enough attention, the poor thing was clearly aching for human contact and when I left he just sat near the gate and watched me sadly go. - Date: 01/12/2012

I uploaded it straight from the camera, I wanted it to stand on it's own instead of adding any effects.
However, I tried your suggestion and it looks interesting but not in black and white. A higher contrast does give it a nice feel but I'd rather keep it in color. - Report As Spam

Too bad, I always look forward to critiques that may help me out. Not that I'm much of a photographer but still if there's something I missed I'd like to know what.
