    “It was a dark and stormy night…” an eerie, growling voice drifted out of the darkness. There was a tiny flash of light, revealing a face with slitted, demonic eyes and a grinning mouth of sharp, sparkling canines, and then it was gone.

    “All the dogs were going wild, barking and growling at the unexpected intruder. Thunder rose from outside the windows, and lightning flashed inside, lighting up the room. The intruder was a man, or at least, that’s what he once was. But, now, he was a walking corpse, trailing blood in his wake from the wound across his throat that would never heal. Dead men don’t heal; remember that.

    “Suddenly, at the next flash of light, one of the dogs struck, leaping in the air toward the thing. But before anything else could be done, there was a slicing sound, then the strong aroma of blood, and the stench of death. The other dogs backed away, and still growled. They knew they wouldn’t stand a chance, but they wasn’t about to let this walking dead past.

    “A door creaked upstairs, as a young boy got up in the middle of the night to see what the noise was. You see, he was the only human member of the household there; the dogs were really everyone else. His parents were away on a trip, and had left the dogs to protect him for the long nights they would be gone.

    “The dogs became fiercer in their attack, realizing it would take all they had to protect the boy. But it was not to be. The corpse raise his arm, machete at the ready, and–”

    “AAAAAH!!” a blood-curdling scream was heard.

    Suddenly, lights were flicked on. Kiba, Naruto, Hinata, Shikamaru, and Sakura stared down at the floor, where Ino was currently trying to make out with Sasuke. It looked like she had pounced on him in the darkness and shoved him to the floor. Either way, she was on top of him, and he looked like he was gonna kill someone. Particular her.

    “Sasuke, was that you that screamed?” Naruto asked laughing.

    “Shut the ******** up dobe and get the ******** off me Ino!” he commanded.

    Ino reluctantly complied.

    Naruto didn’t.

    “Oh man!” the blonde yelled, still laughing. I can’t believe this! The almighty Uchiha screamed? Oh, wait until Kakashi-sensei hears about this!”

    “If I were you, I’d shut up, Naruto,” Kiba advised, snickering himself.

    “If you were me, you’d look good,” Naruto pointed out.

    Kiba growled.

    “Um…guys?” a small voice interrupted.

    “Yes, Hinata?” Shikamaru turned to her, obviously unimpressed with the happenings, the only one really not caring about the argument.

    “Um, well, um, S-S-Sasuke-kun… um, well—”

    “God damn it! He’s gone! Its all you're fault Kiba!” Naruto accused. “It was you're bad story telling that made him leave!”

    “ME? It was you’re big mouth!”

    “Um….”

    “What?” the fighting boys demanded.

    “I-I-Iino-chan‘s gone t-too…”

    It was quiet for a minute, then Naruto’s voice broke the silence.

    “Wow. Ino’s gonna rape Sasuke.”
