• When I woke up, there was a girl looking over me, checking my pulse, and anything else she could have to make sure I was alive.
    What was all that about?
    Once my vision came back to twenty twenty, I realized the girl over me was Haelenna. Her eyes were back to their normal blue and the smile returned to her abnormally pale face.
    "Hey, you're awake. I was afraid I was going to have to give you CPR." She joked. A couple of my classmates behind her giggled and snickered.
    I sat up, rubbing my sore head. What happened to me? I didn't pass out because I was scared right? No way! That was totally insane.
    "What happened?" I asked her.
    She shook her head, as if not understanding what I was asking.
    "What are you talking about?"
    "Ryler, hey man, are you alright? The teacher had to wake your butt up." Derek laughed, so I shoved him away.
    I stood up and grabbed the teachers arm, then yanked her out into the hallway. "What was that all about? Huh? Answer me now!"
    She looked afraid of me, so I let go of her arm.

    She sighed a long sigh, then said, "I have no idea what you are talking about."
    "You do too. Something broke the window, and you had red eyes, and..."
    I peeked back into the classroom. The windows weren't broken, she didn't have red eyes, and her cheek wasn't cut.
    "No, this is impossible, come on. You... You were fighting whatever that thing was that I couldn't see..."
    She shook her head. "Are you okay? Did you hit your head?" She rubbed the back of my head, but I shoved her hand away.
    "Don't touch me." Then I walked back into the classroom and slammed the door shut. I knew I wasn't crazy. Maybe she was making me think I was.
    She seemed like that kind of person...

    I sat down in my chair and opened up my book. Inside, there was one piece of broken glass, complete with a dap of blood on the tip.
    I picked it up and rushed outside.
    "Proof! What do you have to say to that? Huh?"
    Again, she sighed. "Alright, follow me."
    She grabbed my hand and began walking down the hall. Once we got downstairs, she pushed open the front doors.
    "Uh, Teach? I don't think we're supposed to leave the school until the bell rings."
    She ignored me and we walked until she came up to a small beige house.
    "What's this?"
    She yanked me inside and I sat on the couch when she ordered me to.
    "Listen, I can see things that nobody else can. Demon mostly, I think they are called."
    I bursted into laughter. "Good one teach. I'll start that rumor around..."
    She grabbed the front of my shirt and pulled me up into her face.
    "tell this to anyone, and I will kill you, do you understand me?"
    Her eyes narrowed and her cheeks got red. Mad red.
    "Yeah yeah. What do you want me to do about this?"
