We all hate noobs, and like pros. But if we took the whopping FIVE SECONDS to actually explain some things to the noob and help it, it might become a pro. And when it's the greatest Gaia player on earth, with all the stuff and lots of money, everybody will follow it and stuff. But it will be hanging out with you. (That is, if you actually became it's friend.) So the next time you see a noob and you are about to say: "OMG WHAT A IDIOT", go over and say hi, or become it's friend, and teach it some stuff. Because in the future when it's not a noob, you'll be thankful you did. mrgreen

We do NOT all hate 'noobs'. That name is disrespectful and immature. Using it proves that you are one yourself. You are not insightful enough to have been on Gaia for a very long time. People who mock or make fun of noobs, or call someone a noob as an insult are very insecure, and have no other way to gain self confidence than degrading others.
However, I applaud you for suggesting that we teach new users to Gaia things. You're quite right. Although sometimes, SOME of them (or us aha) can be
