The angel delicately floated to the center of the dark wooden floor. The room she was in had windows for walls, pure glass. It was dark outside, the moon hidden in the streaks of clouds. The air was heavy with moisture, perfect for the angel's dance. Her hair stuck to her back like glue as she drew in a deep breath silently. When the first few notes appeared out of the CD player on the edge of the room, her feet floated across the floor, sliding gracefully along.
After another few notes passed, starting to fill the large empty room, the angel brought her hands together like she was holding a ball and soon a sphere of water formed between her hands. She held the ball, letting it mix and slide around while she twirled on one foot, slick black hair and cotton blue dress flying up a little.
The ball of water separated into two whips, wrapping around her wrists. She twirled again, letting the water twirl with her like ribbons. She brought her hands high above her head and twirled once more, the water ribbons forming a cocoon around her. Then, she stopped, the water splattering in every direction. It wasn't water any more; icicles was a better word.
They shattered the glass quickly, the loud noises not even drowning out the music. No, it seemed to add to it, each crake like a new note. The angel then smiled, sweeping herself up back into her ball holding position. But the ball didn't form again. She kept dancing, not even noticing the broken glass shattered around her.
