• That day when all the children of the villagers went to the meadow to play, three children wandered off and one tripped over something.
    "Lucas, watch where you step,” cried one of Lucas's friend, Kim.
    "I'm fine, but more importantly, what's this?" Lucas asked, holding something in high in his hand.
    "That looks like a hand, but it probably isn't, after all why would there be a hand here?" replied Lucas's other friend, Dean.
    Suddenly, Kim shrieked, "Dean! Lucas! That's a body! A dead one!"
    Dean replied by silently whacking Kim's head.
    "If you're going to scream, then scream later or else the other's will hear us,” Dean whispered.
    After seeing the coast was clear, Dean whispered to Kim saying," So what were you talking about earlier? I think it had something to do with a body?"
    Kim answered saying,” That thing, is a dead body."
    After examining the thing closer, they realized Kim was telling the truth. Lucas quickly dropped the hand and all three of them started to scream. Soon, some of the other children and their parents heard them scream. They rushed over quickly, wondering if something had happened. By the time they got there, Dean, Kim, and Lucas were already unconscious. At midnight, Dean and Kim regained conscious.
    "Kim, do you hear that beautiful melody?" Dean asked.
    "Yes, it's very calming," answered Kim.
    So, the two of them stood up and went out to see who was playing the soft and calming melody. The two of them were never seen again.

    3 Years Later
    "Lucas! Where are you going?" asked Lucas's mom, Mrs. Dale.
    "To the meadow!" he yelled back.
    "I wish you would stop looking for Kim and Dean. It’s been three years since they disappeared," Mrs. Dale, softly cried, remembering the night that Kim and Dean had disappeared.
    Lucas replied saying,” I know, but I won't stop looking for them and the rest who also disappeared."
    Mrs. Dale slowly thought it over and said, "Fine, but come back before 4:00 pm."
    "Okay, mom!” shouted Lucas, as he ran towards the meadow.
    When Lucas arrived at the meadow, he saw a girl sitting down, singing. He started to walk towards the girl, when suddenly she turned around and saw him. She stared at him for a minute or two, then stood up and was about to walk off, when Lucas found his voice and asked her a question.
    "Hey! Are you from around here?" Lucas asked.
    "No, but we're moving here," she answered, in a high and soft voice.
    "What's your name? Mine's Lucas," asked Lucas.
    The girl looked at him then answered,"Nagisa."
    "Really, that's a nice name," replied Lucas.
    "Thanks,"Nagisa said.
    Then they sat down and both started to talk. Soon enough it was 4:00 pm and Lucas had to go, so they both said good-bye and he left. On his way home, Lucas saw two other girls that looked almost like Nagisa. He started to approach them to ask if they knew Nagisa, but in the end changed his mind. When Lucas entered his own house, he went straight to bed. He soon fell asleep. When he woke up the next day, his father was going on and on about a trip. When his father heard him wake up, he went over to him to tell him about the trip. Mr. Dale told Lucas he had to go on a fishing trip and that Lucas could come if he wanted.
    "Sure Father, just let me get ready," Lucas replied.
    After Lucas finish preparing, he and his father went over to the lake near the waterfall. While Mr. Dale and his friends were busy trying to catch some fish, Lucas and some other boys his age went to the woods next to the lake to play. Then one of the boys disappeared when he was exploring. Lucas hearing this, thought his old friends, Kim and Dean were probably here in this forest. So he went off into the deeper parts of the forest looking for his friends. Then Lucas heard (to his right) a thunk like something heavy hitting the floor. Lucas, hearing this quickly ran towards it. When he was close enough he hid behind a tree and looked. There behind the tree was a clearing. In the center of the clearing laid the body of the boy who disappeared. His body was pale and broken. On his neck were two holes punctured into his neck. Beside the body, standing up with blood dripping down from her mouth was Nagisa. Shocked, Lucas exhaled a gasp of air, backed up, and collapsed, just as Nagisa turned towards him.
