Splash! She went under. It was quiet and peaceful. She could stay there forever. But, wait she couldn't grasp any air. No, air, no air. Quickly she began to swim. Which way was up? She didn't know. Her lungs burnt. She struggled to reach the surface,but didn't know which way was up. Which way, which way? She was scared so scared. So very scared. Her lungs screamed for air. She couldn't hold it in much longer. Frightened and confused. She saw light above. She was growing very weak. Black, everything was going black, black, black, black. No! She could NOT die here not a watery grave. She found a little strength left in her she pulled all of her will to get out. Her mouth opened and she breathed in a gush of water. things grew blurry. A hand, a hand under the water. with what left of her strength she grabbed for it. Thump! Into the boat. She looked up at the sky. blue blue blue sky. She coughed up water. Saved she was saved. Thank Gods. A boy appeared in her vision. The boy was her savior. He smiled at her. She smiled back.


A week later they got engaged and a year later they got married and lived a very long life together
