Eleanor was sitting on her bed and started to think. Her thoughts were knocked away by the talking outside. She looked outside to see Miss Moonwolf and her grandson. Her grandson had a bandage on his left shoulder. A bloodstain was easily seen.
“Grandma, it’s okay, really,” Protested the boy.
“Are you sure? Being shot can be painful. Remember, your…” Miss Moonwolf was cut off.
“It’s okay. The vampire huntress helped me,” the boy said.
“She understood Slovak?” Miss Moonwolf asked.
“Yeah. I guess she studied it. A lot of werewolves can’t speak English in wolf form. They usually speak Slovak or Latin,” the boy said.
“Kyfer, you should be careful,” Miss Moonwolf warned. “She has killed not only vampires, but crusniks, dunpeals, demons, and werewolves. She is a huntress.”
“She didn’t even try to hurt me, Grandma.” Kyfer protested. He let out a sigh. “I’m going to go wonder around.”
“Be home before midnight. It’s dangerous to be out during the miss hour. That’s when vampires prefer to feed,” Miss Moonwolf warned.
“Alright!” Kyfer yelled as he went running down the driveway.
Eleanor was waiting at the bus stop. She was tapping her foot rapidly. Kyfer came up to the bus stop.
“Eli, what are you doing here?” Kyfer asked.
“I was waiting for you,” Eleanor responded. “Do you want to hang out?”
“Okay,” Kyfer said. “But can I make a suggestion?”
“Sure,” Eleanor said.
“I think…” Kyfer started to say, “that you should choose a personality and stick with it. I mean, one second you’re my girlfriend, another second you’re a trouble maker, then you become that bad-a**.”
“What?” Eleanor freaked out. “You don’t find it sexy?”
“Not really,” Kyfer admitted as he put his hands up behind his head.
“YOU b*****d!” Eleanor shouted.
Kyfer plugged his ears to block Eleanor’s obnoxious shouting. “It’s not my fault you’re a personality freak.” He said.
“Most like me have more than one personality! It’s how us girls survive in the world!” Eleanor yelled.
“Your point is…?” Kyfer asked.
“That does it!” Eleanor said. She kicked Kyfer in the butt and he went flying over a semi-truck and crashed into the mailbox at the post office. “You piece of s**t. Never, and I mean NEVER, say that to a girl! Especially your girlfriend!”
Kyfer staggered up. The guy in the semi-truck seemed terrified of what Eleanor did. Kyfer waved to the guy.
“Don’t worry about her,” Kyfer said. “She’s just immensely strong, plus she took karate.” Kyfer was fibbing his, and Eleanor’s, way out of trouble.
The man in the semi-truck nodded then drove off. Kyfer walked to Eleanor.
“Hey, you should be careful, there are humans living here,” Kyfer said.
“Well, that wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t piss me off,” Eleanor said in a cute voice.
“Oh all right,” Kyfer said, “that personality deal is sexy.”
Eleanor hugged Kyfer tightly and kissed him on the cheek.
