• It's been nearly five years since, the pandemic started. It has spreaded almost world wide. Very few places remain uninfected, unknown, unresidential. What caused this to occur is yet to be found out by five teenagers.

    As I search for an untouched area, I made some friends that joined me on my quest. Adam, he acts like the leader, he's strong and cares for each of us, Jake, he is brave, he would die to save us. Alyssa, she lost her love to the virus, she pretends to hate us although she cares, then theres me, good old me. I keep us together, keeping us safe, away from harm. After what seemed like weeks of searching, we came across this island, across the Alantic.
    "I'll search for a ship" stated Jake heading to the docks.
    "Wait, take Alyssa with you" Adam said throwing a gun at him. Jake sighed and then they headed to the dock while Adam and I, searched for ammunition. A hour later, they came back with keys to a boat. We found some more ammunition but not much. We walked to the boat and Adam drove it towards the island. As Adam drove, Alyssa and me stayed on the deck. We heard a gunshot and ran to where it came from. We see Jake holding a gun, and a dead, lifeless body on the floor. The body was filled with blood, blood not just from the bullet. Alyssa screams when she see's all the blood. She runs out, I chase after her.
    "Alyssa! Wait up!" I said running after her. She did'nt stoped till' we reached the deck. She was crying, I tried to cheering her up, I failed, but I stayed with her. Adam was yelling at Jake for wasting a bullet.
    "Why would you waste ammo like that? You could'nt of just stabbed him or broke his neck?!" Adam yellled, pissed, at Jake.
    "Thanks for saving my life Jake.....Could'nt be happy that I saved your life?...." Jake thought heading to the deck. By the time he reached the deck, we hit shore, he lost balance and fell. I laughed alittle and got off the boat looking at the island seraching for food, and any sign of survivors or the undead. Adam came up from the bottom of the boat. Looking at the island. He then had a shocked expression on his face.
    "Kim!! Get out of there now!" Adam shouted at me. As soon as he said that I became surrounded by the undead. I screamed scared, unable to fight back, I tried to get away. I failed. Jake started shooting at the zombies with a pistol, he did'nt have really good aim, so the undead kept on falling and getting back up again. Adam was gone.
    "Adam!?" Alyssa screamed frantically.
    "He went to go help her, now quit whining and help me kill these things!" Jake said reloading the gun. Alyssa just stood there watching for Adam. Out of no where Adam attacked some of the dead. He grabbed my hand and headed deep in the forest. I followed him knowing it was too risky to go back.
    "I hope their okay." I thought, as we ran. Alyssa ran to the wheel and tried to start the boat. Jake ran after her shooting the last of the undead. He missed and it soon came towards the boat.
    "What are you doing? We can't just leave them like that." Jake said pulling her away from the wheel.
    "Yeah well I can't die" She said squirming trying to get away from him. Jake picked her up and put her over her shoulder, she was still squirming. He grabed all the ammo and weapons he was able to carry. He climbed off the boat, he reached the ground with Alyssa still on his shoulder. That zombie that he failed to kill came slowly walking towards them. He took out his pistol and shot it right in the head. It fell to the ground, they headed to the forest. Meanwhile Adam and me were walking towards the core of the island. As we reached the core, we seen this this huge tower in a clearing, a house was next to it. The tower looked like a tree house, it was made out of wood. So was the house.
    "What went on here?" I thought starring at my surroundings.
    "Lets check it out" I said heading towards the house.
    "Wait, I'll go first" Adam said walking in front of me. I followed. Before we reached the house I felt a hand on my shoulder, Adam was in front of me so I knew it was'nt him. I screamed. Adam turned around and chuckled. Jake broke out into laughter. Alyssa ran to Adam and huged him. I turned around and yelled at him. Adam was trying to get Alyssa off of her.
    "What was that for?! You trying to scare me to death?!" I yelled at him.
    "Sorry sorry, I thought it would be funny" He said chuckling. I stormed into the house. I screamed in horror. Everyone came running towards me, Alyssa screamed. There was blood all over the wood flooring. Two bodies layed lifelessly on the floor drenched in blood. They were'nt shot by the living but eaten by the undead. Their skin was already decapitating. BANG BANG I ran behind Alyssa, afraid. Jake went to one side of the door while Adam went to the other. BANG Adam lifted up one finger, than the second, then the third.
    "Now!" Adam whispered loudly. Jake swung the door open. A girl drenched in blood came out.
    "Are you bitten?" Asked Adam. The girl shook her head.
    "What hap-" Adam was saying as he got cut off by two loud screams. The three of them ran to the room where Alyssa and I were standing. Their was blood everywhere. The bodies that were once laying on the ground dead are coming towards Alyssa and me. We were cornered, they were getting closer. The newcomer was freaking out, she made Adam drop his gun. Jake was trying to calm her down, knowing that he would miss and shoot one of us. One jumped at Alyssa and bit her arm, tearing her flesh apart from her body. She screamed in pain. Adam mangaed to pick up the gun and shoot the one biting Alyssa. She fell to the ground, holding her arm and crying. The other one came after me, I screamed. It was close to me.
    "Am I going to die? Is it all over?" I thought to myself closing my eyes. Adam shot it. I opened my eyes as the cold, bloody body fell onto mine. The new girl ran to Alyssa, she had grabbed her arm and put pressure on it to prevent more bleeding.
    "Somebody take her arm and hold it with pressure" Said the girl as Adam took her arm, she took off her jacket. She ripped off the sleave and wrapped it around Alyssa's wound. I was shaking, Jake came by me and helped me get the dead guy off of me.
    "T-thanks" I stuttered. Jake then took his pistol out and pointed it at Alyssa.
    "What do you think your doing?" Asked Adam.
    "She's been bit." Answered Jake.
    "So?" Adam asked.
    "Those things were bitten, they were dead. They came back as the undead. Alyssa is going to die and become one of them. We have to kill her now, before its too late. Before she kills us all." He stated.
    "We don't know if it works like that. We're not going to kill her. If she becomes one of them, we'll handle it then." Adam said helping Alyssa up.
