• There he sat. Thinking up punishments for his recent captives. Most of the captives hung from the ceiling, sobbing in metal cages. Paddington just laughed, his eyes sparkling with evil darkness.
Suddenly his young assistent, Summer walked in. Everyone who had never seen her before, stared. She was beautiful, with long, straight blonde hair and emerald green eyes. She wore black jeans with a dark long coat and black boots. "We lost him." she muttered, breaking the silence.
"What!?!" Paddington shouted, rising to his feet, "You lost him, I underestimated him. I should have never sent you, a child!"
    "But, but..."
"No buts," Paddington interupted "You lost the boy with the power to take the world from us. Do you know how serious this is?" Paddington asked.
    "I'm sorry, Paddy."
"Do not call me Paddy!" Paddington exclaimed. "Now help me think of punishments for these mere children."
"Well, we could get the short ones and stretch them in the torture room," Summer said nervously. "Or we could break their fingers and legs and leave them to scream in pain."
"Or we could do both, First we could stretch them and then break their fingers and legs!" Paddington laughed evilly. The captured children quivered with fear.
"Anyways," Summer said "I've got to go and see Liam, he has something he needs doing. And I'm getting paid! Though I do like torturing children." And with that Summer left.

Liam's house was cluttered and messy. There was a knock on the door. Liam tripped on his way to get it. Outside Summer heard a crash. "Nevermind, I'll let myself in," and she walked through the door. "So, what do you need me to do?" Summer asked as Liam was getting up off the floor.
"I need you to deliver these important documents to Elder Edward, 21 Candlelight Road."
"Ok, what are they?" Summer replied.
"Oh, nothing special, they're just about that mysterious boy that can save the world, so they say."
    "Who are they?"
"The Grand Mages nine sorcerers," Liam said looking at Summer suspiciously. "Why?" He asked.
"Because I'm nosy," Liam looked guilty. "Yeah, I hear you, Paddington and the rest talking about me."
"Oh, sorry about that." Replied Liam.
"You didn't seem bothered when I heard you laughing," Summer informed. "In fact I believe you quite enjoyed all that screaming laughter."
"Yeah, Paddy could't breathe," Liam replied. Summer scowled "Oh, thats when I'm supposed to act all sensitive isn't it?"
    "Yes! It is!"
"I don't understand you girls, so complicated."
"Yeah, you guys aren't, are you. All you do is mess around."
"All you girls do is worry about your makeup and hair."
    "Not me, I fight. "
    "Yeah? Prove it!"
"Ok, I will." Then Summer kicked him in the face. Liam stumbled backwards, his nose was bleeding.
    "What was that for?"
"You asked me to prove that I fight."
"I didn't mean kick me in the face, you gave me a nosebleed."
"Proved it though didn't it?" Summer replied. "See you later!"
    "Where are you going?"
"To deliver these important documents, bye."

On the way to Elder Edward, Summer's mobile rang. "Hello?" Summer answered. "One of them escaped!"
    "One what?"
"What do you think! A captive escaped!"
"Calm down! It's only a child. I'll be there soon. I've just gotta deliver these documents to Elder Edward."
    "The good Edward!?"
    "No, what are you thinking!"
"I will tell you later. I've got to recapture this captive."
"By the way, thanks for calming down."
"Your welcome. Now goodbye." Then Paddington hung up.

As Summer walked down the street, Elder Edward stood on his doorstep. His house stood out like a sore thumb, it was old and musty smelling, while the others where modern and clean.
"Why don't you ever move house?" Summer asked curiously.
"Because I've lived here all my life. Most of my treasured memories live in this very house and I'm not about to let them go!" Replied the elder.
    "What memories?"
"You are a curious child, aren't you?"
"I'm not a child! And yes I'm curious, but Liam and Paddy prefer to call it nosy." Summer said annoyed.
"If your not a child what are you?"
    "I'm a young adult!"
    "You're only fourteen."
"I'm very mature for my age."
"More like immature! You can't accept that I can beat you in an arguement."
"Do you want these documents or not?"
"Yes! And if you want to live you will give them to me!"
"Calm down! No need to threaten me, I was going to give them to you anyway."
"I wasn't threatening, but that mysterious boy is! Hand me the documents at once!"
"Here, here! I don't want them anyway. I'm only doing this for the money. What's so special about that mysterious boy anyway?"
"He has powers, like my nine sorcerers, and I need to read these documents that my employees have scraped together, so goodbye."
"By employees, do you mean spies?"
    "Yes. Now goodbye!"
"Bye grumpy." Said Summer. Then Edward went inside. He sat down on the old armchair and began to read the papers. "It turns out that that mysterious boy, is actually a girl," Edward told his cat, Fluffers.
"And that Paddington has her as a captive. It says her name is Blaine and that she is nine years old."
    "Meiow." Fluffers replied.

Back at Paddington's den, the escapee was back in her cage. Summer walked in gracefully once more. "I see you don't need my help after all."
"Not now, thanks for the help," Paddington said sarcastically "Just minutes before you arrived, I got a call from Elder Edward, the youngest captive I have is nine. He said that's how old the mysterious boy is, and that it's not a boy, it's a girl. Called Blaine."
    "Where is this Blaine then?"
"The thing is, I have her."
    "What? How?"
"She is my youngest captive, when she tried to escape she waved and sparks flew from her fingertips. So I knew she was special, that was what drove me to finally capture her. Then I got the call from Edward and all the peices fell into place."
"So you've got to keep her captured then?"
    "Yes."
"Paddington, turn around!" When Paddington turned around, Blaine was running out of the building.
"Get her!" Paddington shouted. Summer ran as fast as her legs would move, Paddington and his guards were moving in fast, and gracefully, Summer turned to look at him, everything went in slow motion. Paddington was young, fifteen even. She thought he was gorgeous. Then all of a sudden, Summer turned just in time to see two of Paddington's guards grab Blaine by the shoulders.
They were so strong that Blaine was jerked backwards
