• I looked down the long, dark, alley. I know I shouldn't be scared, but I never went home this way at night. I started walking down trying very hard not to creep myself out. To get my mind off of it, I thought of why I stayed after school. My two friends, Sakura, Carie, and I were working on the haunted house for Halloween. We were just getting everything ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow was Halloween. The haunted house was looking pretty good. I was thinking of all of the stuff that we put in there as I walked out of the alley. I felt really proud of myself for not getting scared, but that only lasted for a moment. I heard someting coming up the way I just came. At first I thought it was a cat, But then I heard, " Sayo. Sayo Anah." That gave my chills up my spine. Then it dawned on me. It was probly one of my friends trying to scare me. So I turned around, to tell then that they coulden't scare me. My smile slowly turned into a frown. There was a boy around my age, 14, and he was staring at me and not moving. I thought for a moment. I've never seen this boy in my life. He took a step. Then another. The next thing I knew, I was racing down the sidewalk tword my house. I didn't stop and I never looked back until I was inside my house with the doors locked. I stood there for a second waiting for my heart to slow. Then I was ashamed of myself. What if he needed directions? I could of helped him if I hadn't freaked out. As I went up the stairs to my room, I kept scolding myself.
    The next day at school, I was walking twoard the haunted house until I heard someone call my name. I turned around and I saw Sakura and Carie coming my was. Sakura was a vampire and Carie was an evil fariy. I on the other hand was a witch. We all walked into the hauned house to prep the crew. After we got them all together, Sakura stood up on the stage, which right now was a dungen room. " Alright everybody. You know your stations. Lets get to them people." I looked around and stopped cold. It was the boy again walking off. I told Sakura I'd be right back and I went off the way the boy had. The way he went, it led me outside. I looked around and he was standing there staring at the stars. I walked up to him and said, " Hey!" He turned aroung slowly like he didn't really care who was it. When he saw me he gave me a smile. " Hey. I was wondering when I'd see you again."
    " See me? From the look of it, you were stalking me." " No. I was just looking for you so I could tell you something." I waited. He stod there looking at me, wanting me to say someting first. My curiosity made the best of me. " What did you want to tell me?" " Your a witch." I looked at him for a moment. He must be nuts. " Your nuts if you think witchs are real." I said rolling my eyes.
    " It's true. Have you ever done something that you couldn't understand? Something you couldn't tell anybody?" I was shocked. How did he know that? I was 8 and me and Sakura were playing on the playground and we saw a kid getting bullied. I got so mad that I went over to the bully and told him to back off. I don't know what happened, but the boy screamed and ran. I turned around and helped the kid up. That was how me, Carie, and Sakura became friends. Sakura always says that whenever I get mad or really happy, my green eyes get brighter. " How did you know about that?" I was starting to get mad. " See. I know your a witch because your eyes just glowed with power." " Why do you care if I'm a witch anyway." " I'll tell you. If you come with me." I thought about it. Should I go with him?
