• In the middle of the dense fog, a single boy wanders around calling out to the infinite distance of a hellish graveyard.

    Boy: Hello, Anyone? Where am I!? Somebody Answer!!

    Meanwhile at the entrance from Junes, Souji and his friends were about to train some more, but Teddie picked up the missing boy's presence with his nose by chance.

    Teddie: Hmmmmm???

    Yosuke: Whats up Ted?

    Teddie: This can't be right, someone just came into this world.

    Kanji: Whoa, are you serious!?

    Rise: Hold on a sec, I'll check see.

    Rise summoned Himiko to scan the area. She was alarmed to find that Teddie was right, someone is trapped.

    Rise: Someone is in here, Teddie was right, although, something isn't right. In any case, we should rescue him, the fog clears tonight!

    Yosuke: There's some pressure for ya, common let's go.

    The party arrives at the entrance of an eerie graveyard. It showed the moon that appears to be red, the fog of the area thickened as to emphasis ignorance, but, there are posts with bleeding bodies of people clearly above it. Yosuke became a bit frightful of the mere appearance of the place.

    Yosuke: Who...Whoever this guy is, he's got some issues.

    Souji only looked around to examine the area.

    Teddie: This place is "beary" creeeeeeepyyyyyyy

    Kanji: Knock it off you stupid bear!! It ain't funny!

    Yukiko: Is this person suffering?

    Chie: Oooh man, oh man, this is really scary.

    Yosuke: Yep, I just pissed my pants now.

    Souji: We have to rescue him no matter what.

    The party agreed and entered the dark area, despite the reluctance due to the possible characteristics of the person that created the graveyard. Partway within the labyrinth, they spot a little girl fading in and out as she skipped around within the green fog humming a tune. Yosuke felt cold sweats all over his body as the girl approached them.

    Fading girl:Hi, my name is Aya. Whats yours?
    Hey, are you here to rescue him?

    Souji nodded, she didn't seem hostile at the moment.

    Fading girl: Yaaay, I knew it. Well, you better hurry before playtime.

    She faded completely in front of them. Chie, who founder herself holding on to Yosuke slapped him.

    Yosuke: W...what the hell was that for!?

    Chie: At least you didn't sustain another critical hit to the nads like before.

    Yosuke sighed, as the party seemed on pause.

    Chie: Wait, what did she mean by playtime?

    Kanji: Uhhh.... I dunno

    The party kept moving on only to confront another mysterious figure, a woman, who was like an over-energetic version of Chie.

    Woman: Hey, what's up? Names Hitomi. What do you think your doing here?
    ....Whatever, we'll all wait for you at the top. Laterz

    She fades away like the other one.

    Yosuke: I'm really freaking out right now.

    Kanji: Would'ya keep it together man?

    Three more figures appeared in front of the party, a woman who was dressed in a very seductive manner that easily caught the eye of Yosuke, Two men who seem to be knights, one of them wearing his armor in a delinquent fashion.

    Seductive Woman: Good day boys. My my, what are cute kids doing in a place such as this?

    Shaggy Knight: Heh, probably some douches on a quest to save some pathetic person.

    Serious looking Knight: Ray, you talk too much

    Shaggy Knight: Would ya quit bitching on me?

    Seductive Woman: Ignore them dears, Ray and Caleb always quarrel like that, it's pretty cute if you ask me.

    The appealing woman pinches the delinquent in the ear.

    Ray: Hey what the hell is that, ow ow ow!

    All three of them fade away. The party was very confused as to what kind of person would have these kinds of things lurking within him. As they proceeded forward they made it to the main gate that was made of black marble and was carved in the very morbid fashion showing the feeling of have freedom taken away. In front of the gate was a man who was dressed in a suit with a long coat. He had long black hair, wore a top hat, and a mask that covers half of his face.

    ????: The person whose life you wish to preserve lies beyond this gate. I will tell you right now that once you enter you may not come out in your mortality.

    Yosuke: Wait, what!? Are saying that we can’t handle him, don’t doubt our powers buddy.

    ????: Then proceed…and face the heart of "True Reality"

    The gentle man fades away as the party reached the conclusion to enter the last room of the graveyard. The room was circular, the fog had covered the sides to serve as walls, and two people are already fighting. One who is in rage and anguish, and the other who is enjoying his anger. They can already tell who the shadow is and who the host is.

    Infuriated boy: JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME!!

    Shadow: You know that is impossible, because no matter how hard you try how fast you run. You cannot deny that I am you.

    The angered boy punched the shadow straight in the face.

    Infuriated boy: YOU'RE NOT ME YOU FREAKIN PSYCHO!!

    The shadow, as he flew split into six others. The same people the party met in the dungeons.

    Hitomi: You cannot run away from yourself.

    Caleb: Nor can you defeat it.

    ????: The truth is what created you.

    Ray: The truth sucks doesn’t it?

    The entire group of shadows fused together to create the true form of the hidden facade of the host. The Fallen….

    Yosuke: Holy crap, here we go.

    The party charges forward to fight the shadow.

    The Fallen: I am a shadow, the true self.

    Yosuke: How many times have we heard this, let's just beat it like we always do.

    The shadow knew about Rise’s ability to scan it, and attacks her.

    Rise: SENPAI!!

    Boy: Dammit!!

    A flash of light blinded the whole area as to the heat of the moment. Rise was rescued by the boy who was no longer angry, but seemed a bit happy. He had blocked the shadow with a persona.

    Kanji: What the hell!?

    Yosuke: Wait what!?

    Yukiko: How is that possible?

    Chie: How could he have a persona if his shadow hasn't returned to him yet?

    Boy's persona: Thou art I, and I art thou. I am the light within the soul of the tormented, the instinct of happiness and justice; I am the shadow, the piece of one's soul. Maya.

    Boy: Heh, alright, if they want to play it that way, GAME ON!!

    The boy had joined the party for the battle; his aid had been most useful for he can severely attack The Fallen. As the fight had come to a close, the shadows separated. The boy confronted the group with a smile and open arms.

    Boy: I can't believe it would take a near-death experience for me to find out whom exactly am I. But now, I realize that the answer is there. It's killing me, it's supporting me. I am all of you, and I am none of you. And all of you reflected me.

    Maya came out of the boy's body to confront him and with the others as one. The shadows reformed into the boy's persona, his other self; Vincent the Fallen Angel.

    After the reunion of the boy's mind, he fell to his knees.

    Yosuke: Hey man, can you hear us, come on, wake up!!

    Kanji: You can't blame him for being this tired. Getting trapped in this fog, fighting his shadow twice. And he still went through accepting it. It's a lot for one guy to take.

    Chie: We should probably get him out of here.
