- My hand caressed the roll of tape as it lay on my desk next to me. No emotion or smile running across my sweat-ridden face. I was... Scared. The previous night, i heard a growl, but assumed it was my three-and-a-half pound chihuahua trying to get into my room. I was wearing my favorite shirt. I got it from a concert i went to a few years back. two at the most. it was black, and stained from bleach. My baggy stone washed blue jeans had a tear in the left knee what was covered with duct-tape to last longer. The cuff around the pant legs were dry rotted. The holes were waiting to tear. I propped my feet up on a small television on my floor. it was resting on a 20-pound body pillow. I peered out the window on the other side of my dimly lit blue-colored room. There was an injured animal on the side of the road. It was a white tailed deer. it was mauled. Its entrails were nearly fallen out, so i grabbed a stick and wondered off into the woods to see what size the "bear" The old woman told me was. Heart racing, hands trembling, i went deeper into the heavily wooded area. sweat poured off of my face, and the emotion of fear hit me as hard as a boeing 747 nose diving into the Earth's crust. I was barley able to move. The Beast, snarling and snapping, emerged from a group of trees covering an area. It was... tall. and brown. It was as furry as a wolf, yet meaner than a ticked off bear. i dropped the stick and adrenalin and fear took over my body. i ran, full speed away from the beast. The wolverine looking thing trailed close behind. I ended up hitting my head off of a low-hanging branch rendering myself unconscious. when i woke up, the beast looked up. His claws were razors. They seemed... retractable. It tied me down and snapped. The beast, a human-eating lycanthrope, took his sharp claw and dug into every appendage he could reach easily. or tried to reach. I was frantic. Then it went black... Several sirens and gunshots woke me up, and the beast lay infront of the barricade as peramedics checked out my wounds. i couldnt hear a thing. I could barly see. I was excited to go back home. Never again will i wonder off to save some poor animal. The sheriff cut the lycanthropes ear and handed it to me on a toilet-bowl chain. I slid the chain on, and bid my farewells before going home to lay, and sleep in my small, dimly lit room.
