• Luna couldn't help but feel a shadow of unease and nervousness as these five wolves walked towards her, and inctinctively took a step or two backwards. She noticed the red's ears perk and the larger ebony's eyes light in amusement and interest. They didn't seem like they wanted to hurt her, so Luna straightened her posture and having never been the stranger, she kept her tail strait.

Seeing the posture of this loner stay confident, the dark female bared her teeth and snarled. She was around her seventh year, same as her crimson mate in age. She'd been the unchallenged Alpha female for the five years her position as such had started, and she hated confidence in newcomers. They had no place, in her mind, to be showing that thay were proud and strong. These loners were not a pack member, not yet, and did not have the rights of showing how important they thought themselves.

The Alpha's sudden show of annoyance had Luna's instincts make her tail curl between her legs and a small whine escape her throat. This seemed to satisfy the other, and her lip unfurled calmly. She approached the white wolfess and circled, sniffing the wolf nose to tailtip. Soon the Alpha male followed in suite, and then the lighter grey female. The second black wolf did so, another female, before the last one, a scrawny dark grey male did the same. Luna guessed the last was the Omega, his ribs lightly showed and he looked the most uncared for of the bunch.

As soon as their approach, the pack turned away and trotted off. Only the light grey female stayed, and then began to follow as Luna didn't budge. "You should be following. If not, once the rain starts up again, you won't know where we sleep." She said, and Luna tilted her head and followed.

"So I was accepted?" The silver she-wolf questioned, tilting her head.
"You weren't denied, or bitten. As far as I can tell, your part of our pack. And higher-ranked than my brother, too." She answered simply, trotting after the other shapes.

"What are your names, then?" Luna was curious, and didn't know what else to feel. She was clueless how to act, Shadow and Tanna never having behaved as this Alpha had done.

"Names? The Alpha is Zalla, her mate is the red. He's called Rano. The other black wolf is Zalla's sister, Zene, and my brother is the Omega Lao."

Luna nodded. "Simple enough. I'm Luna. What about you?"

Just before she answered, Luna noticed they'd walked beyond the flatland she'd been found on, and the wolves were all grouped around the base of a large, rocky hill. There were outcrops and holes big enough for elk to enter, lined along the grassy place. "These are our dens. There are a few more around, and you're to pick from those." She grey said to her, no one else saying a word to the newest member of the pack.

"A-alright..But, what do I do? Am I not supposed to speak to anyone, or..?" Luna was confused by the silent tratement, and even more so by the fact that this wolfess was acting like Luna should already know how things went. Oh, that's right...I'm a wolf, afterall. I should know what to do...[/i

"What do you mean, 'what do I do?' " She asked incredulously. "You are now a member of this pack, and therefore act like the rest. As for what to say, don't speak to Salla or Rano unless it's in emergancy pr something...And keep that tail of yours low, don't flare it out like a flag unless the only wolf ear is Lao. You'll get your ears bitten off if anything like that is noticed by the Alphas. And for anything else? I'm the friendliest here. Lao never talks, he's afraid. Zalla is a b***h, and I don't just mean a female dog. She hates newcomers. Same with Rano, but he's a bit gentler, and Zene is just flat-out cruel. Don't go near her or your in for a fight, being the nebie you are."

Paying attention to these rules, the white wolf smiled awkwardly. "Well thanks for the advice! But it's darkening quick, so..What now?"

"What now? Pick a small piece of prey from the pile," She pointed to a pile of animals with her muzzle, "And find a den." With that, she walked off to get her own piece.

Luna watched her walk off, and decided to find a den. One rather large space was near the wolf she'd just conversed with, it smelled like her. Taking that wolf at her word, Luna decided she would be the nicest in the pack and took the sleeping spot near her den. She wasn't hungry.

That light wolf returned to her den with a rabbit, and as she chowed down, Luna wanted to know her name as sleep made her eyes heavy.

    "Grey wolf?" She asked.
    "Hmmn?"
"I can't call you that, what was your name that you didn't get to tell?"
"My name? Sora. It means sky."

"Oh..Well Goodnight!" Luna said cheerily, and curled up against the night before falling asleep rather fast. All the other wolf said in response was another "Hmm." And the silvery female guessed it was only because Sora was still eating.
