• I woke up to voices outside my door. "I don't want him in there!" that was me dad. "Why not?" my mom asked. I looked at Kyo, his eyes were open. "Am I the only one who remembers her last boyfriend?" my dad hissed, trying to keep his voice low. I clenched Kyo's shirt, put my head against his chest, and pulled my legs closer to my body. "No, but sweetheart. There is something about this one. If you just look at him, you'll see it. He honestly cares about our daughter." my mom said. I smiled "Go mom!" I thought. "But-" my dad tried to say. "Look! They're asleep so make it quiet." my mom hissed. I can only imagine how quickly Kyo shut his eyes. My door quietly opened and Kyo's arms tightened around me. I steadied my breathing to match Kyo's calm breaths. My door closed and I heard my dad say "I saw it. You're right, there really is something about this one." I sighed quietly. Kyo shook me a bit. I looked up, he had a questioning look in his eyes. "Last boyfriend?" he whispered. I nodded "Well, I am sixteen. I have had other boyfriends, haven't you had other girlfriends?" I asked. "Good point." he said. "But, why was your father so on edge about it?" he asked. "Mind if I don't get into it?" I asked. "Sure." he said. I heard my parents footsteps go down the stairs. Kyo lowered his heard and connected our lips. Kyo's hands slipped under my shirt and softly rubbed my back. I unbuttoned a few of the buttons on his shirt and slipped my hands through them and felt his stomach. "Kiss kiss. I love you. Lies. Secrets. How much do you think he is hiding from you?" a voice inside me asked. It wasn't my voice, it wasn't any part of me talking, it was someone else, yet it was coming from inside ME. A seperate being living inside me. I quickly seperated my lips from his in surprise and fear. "What?" he asked, seeing the terror in my eyes. Than his eyes went seriouse as he read my mind. "This isn't good." he muttered. "What?" I asked. He sat up, his shirt unbuttoned and open as he reached for his bag. I sat up next to him "Kyo?" I asked as he rummaged through his stuff. "Hold on a sec." he hissed. "Um, okay." I murmured. He stopped looking and looked at me with a worried expression. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be like that. Just let me get you something." he said. I smiled "Thank you. But I'm fine." I said. He grinned "Well, you just might need this. Just promise me you won't take it off. It's waterproof so you don't have to worry about it getting wet." he said and took out a beautiful ring that had Onyx stone in it with a light purple metal part. I gasped, it was beautiful, amazing. "I sorta got it for you." he blushed. "It's amazing." I said, still breathtaken. "I got Leon to put a spell on it so it will only come off if you want it to." he explained. "That's awesome!" I said. I was about to grab for it, but he said "Can I put it on for you?" he asked. I blushed, but nodded. He gently took my right hand and placed it on my ring finger. "It does look great on you." he whispered. I smiled, It wasn't a ring for marriage or anything, but you could feel the love behind this one gift. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. Suddenly, the voice didn't matter, nothing did. Just us, just being with him, just him. "I love him. more than anything. I'd kill for him, I'd die for him." I thought. "I'd kill for you, I'd die for you. Because I love you, more than anything. My heart is yours, to break or love." that was Kyo.
