"Are you sure that's what you saw?" he asked. I nodded and rolled over on my bed. I had told Kyo about the face I saw on the slide at the pool. Kyo was sitting on my desk chair wearing black pants and a black t-shirt. I was in black shorts and a light purple tank top. It was still hot out and my house was even hotter. "This isn't good." he sighed. I didn't waste my breath asking why. He wouldn't have said anything anyway. "Are you mad?" he asked. "No, dissapointed, impatient, but not mad." I said. He walked over to the bed and bent over me "Jubei, you do know I love you, right?" he asked. I looked up at him and nodded "I know." I said. "I'd kill for you." he said. "I know." I said. "I'd die for you." he said. "Kyo, what's wrong?" I asked, sitting up. "Nothing. Nothing's wrong. I just wanted you to know. That's all." He said. "Liar. There's something more." I said. "Why is there always something more?" he asked. "Why, indeed?" I asked. He sighed. "Even though I can't read minds, I can still tell what you're feeling" I said. "Yea, I can tell." he sighed. "All right, fine, I give." I said. He looked confused "What?" he asked. "I won't ask anymore, okay?" I said. His eyes went a little sad then, but he nodded. "Hey, don't look so sad." I said, sitting up. He sighed and cupped my face in his hands wile sitting next to me on the bed. "You don't need to worry about me." he said. "Yes, I do. If there's one thing I've learned about you, it's that you never think things through." I said. He smirked at that "Oh, really. If there's one thing I've learned about you, is that you think too much." he said. "You always try to get into a fight before listening to the person's story." I said. "You do your best not to fight with fists. I mean, what would you do if you had to fight?" he asked. "Trust me, as long as I have you, I will never need to fight." I said. "You are always asking questions and sticking your nose into everything." he said. "You never try to understand people." I protested. With all the words being thrown, the conversation began turning into a fight. "You always keep everything to yourself, you never tell anyone what you're really feeling. You won't let people help you." he said, teeth clenched. "You will never shut up. It's hard for other people to talk." I said. "You always try to keep me away from danger, even when I can take care of my self." I said. "You heart killing demon." he said. "You cold-hearted bloodsucker." I said. "Do you want to kiss me as much as I want to kiss you?" he asked, still in his argument voice. "I'm suprised someone as smart as you would have to ask." I said. And let me tell you that was the weirdest way to get ourselves to kiss. We never did that again, but it was pretty dang funny. His lips were always the same, but I was glad for that. Always warm, always sweet, and there was always fireworks. His hands went under my shirt. Softly rubbing my back. Although, his hands went over my bra strap a lot. I rolled my eyes behind my eyelids. Kyo laughed a bit against my lips. "Reading my mind again?" I thought. "Yes." he whispered in my mind. I sperated our lips "How-?" I was about to ask. "You read my mind." he said. "I did what now?" I asked. He laughed "You read my mind." he said. "How?" I asked. "I told you before, you're very special." he said. "How special?" I asked. "Nice try, but I can't tell you." he said, sighing a bit. "Fine." I groaned. I sat up, and realized my bra was unhooked. My face went hot "Kyo!" I yelled. He smiled guiltily and shrugged. "I'm gunna kill you!" I said. He laughed, not mockingly. "Don't laugh!" I said. "Okay." he said seductivly. He loomed over me and gently pushed my back onto the bed. I felt my cheeks grow warm. "Not yet, Kyo." I said. "Why not?" he whispered. "Something tells me not yet. Not never, just not yet." I said, face still warm. He smiled sadly "You are starting to see it, princess." he said. I looked at him "What?" I asked. "All I can tell you, right now, is that you are a princess. I know it's cheezy, but, well, yeah." he said. "You're kidding, right?" I asked. He shook his head "No, I'm not." he said. "Prove it." I said. He sat up and closed his eyes thinkingly. I sat up beside him. He opened his eyes and said "I got it!" than pointed at my chest "You have a birthmark there! It looks like feathered wings and a heart!" he said. My face turned warm. "Well, you could've seen that on the trip to the beach or pool!" I pointed out. He nodded "Yes, but, I have one on my chest just like it." he said. "You're kidding." I said. He shook his head "No, I'm not." he said and slid off his shirt. He was right, there was one just like it on his chest. It was a pair of feathered wings, but instead of a heart, it was a crescent moon. "I'm surprised you never noticed it. After all, I wasn't wearing a shirt at the beach or the pool. I coughed a bit and muttered "I was looking at something else." I said. A slience came in "Can I tell you something?" I asked. He nodded. "I'm kinda scared." he studdered. He hugged me tightly "Me too." he whispered.
