I thank all of you for taking the time to plan out this summit in advance even though our daily hours are tight and busy and although some of you have gone through dozens of meeting yourselves, this wouldn't be so different, even though it's the important meeting before heading to the bar to catch up. *audience chuckles*
With the end of this summit and a more broad perspective of what's to come and how we all proceed towards the future and with the faction now agreeing to a global ceasefire, we can all say that our world will no longer struggle to live another day in this global war we've created. I am glad that the Japanese Prime Minister, Koji Saitou-san and the Italian President, Mr. Alberto Buonattori for nagging at me to allow this summit to happen. *Audience laughing & clapping* Mmmhmmm, they are respectable men and I look up to their leadership before and still have. Not only do I see them as friends I can drink with, but, they are also my mentors for showing me what any leader should do for his or her nation.
On the mention of "friends," yes, the leaders of GD Monarch, Chimera Operations, And OakWell International are indeed former friends of mine, though during the war; we saw each other as enemies, even to the point of the other's demise upon the notion that are armies would become victorious, but, at a constant stalemate, neither side had won which prolonged the war even greater causing more harm than good. Today at the end of this summit however, I ask if they are willing to forgive me and one another for our actions, and ask if they're willing to be my friends once again.
In truth, I missed the days we hung out at our favorite local bar that we'd go to every weekend. Those interaction meant more than the benefit of winning this war of global security and having denounced them made me feel like it was a decision I'd regret for a long time.
Not a day goes by whenever a weekend pass that I'd miss my friends and the bar we all hung out in.
With them here, I ask if you guys can forgive me and each other and come back not as enemies, but as friends. No peer pressure because of the crowd before us, or a plead to gain the trust of the UN that we can hold this ceasefire through friendship; I ask because I miss those days we've all spent at the table chattering amongst ourselves and humoring one another with stories of what happened during our daily lives, so I'll ask if you're willing to forgive this foolish man and each other and shake hands.
*All three leaders standing up acknowledging that request and nodding*
Thank you my old companions, indeed it won't be the same as before, but somehow throughout all the troubles we've been in; nothing is as tough as Samuels' wife who've always had a hand at playing mother to all four of us. *audience chuckling* Sam, I know that wife of yours has been nagging at you about skipping out on this war, but at the very least, you can tell her the war is over. *audience clapping*
Now before we all leave with our friends by our side, I'd like to give a quote by American Actor Orson Welles, "I haven't seen you in a while, yet I often imagine all your expressions. I haven't spoken to you recently, but many times I hear your thoughts. Good friends must not always be together. It is the feeling of oneness, when distant that proves a lasting."
Thank you and God Bless.
