- A frightened creature of the night peers out with bloodshot eyes into the cold, forbidding wind. Shivering in the damp hole in the ground it stares in envy at its counterparts dancing in the swirls of wet and the flashing glow of the menacing lightning from the unforgiving skies. Laughing they splash in the puddles sending jewels of water into the night air, clearly unaware, uncaring of the treacherous night. Sitting in its tomb of solitude, the creature weeps with tears equally as cold and wet as the storm brewing outside. Motivated into isolation by fear, only to find that within avoiding death it would also miss out on life itself.

- Description: A short analogy of the restrictive, antisocial, feelings that overcame me as a kid in high school. There were many moments during that time that i felt like a scared animal hiding in a hole to avoid the storm. I wish I would have realized then how much I was missing out on.
