The long bell rang for thirty seconds, signaling the lock down drill. The people
near the windows pulled down the blinds as everyone else headed for the corner of the classroom out of view of the door. Our mentor taped a piece of paper over the window on the door so no one could see in. We huddled into the corner, pushing away the desks to make a barricade or as Mr. L called it, a fort. As we sat K pulled out his phone and was ready to record a video. Mr. L turned off the lights to make it appear as though our classroom was vacant. As we sat in a circle Mr L pulled out the magical provision bucket and went through everything. He gave a five minute lecture about how to use a maxi tampon to stop the blood flowing from a gun wound. Then he went through how we could play poker with the cards inside and bet the lollipops in there since there was only nine. He also said we could fight over the space blanket and masks if they were ever needed.
After several minutes we closed the magical bucket and Mr. L asked us if we knew what a certain type of missile was. K said aloud the following:
"Q would know if he was here."
Silence. That was all there was for a second in the dark room. K then suggested we all sent a voice note to Q, hoping he'd get better so we all did. We then began the discussion of how he was. We'd heard that he had a really bad flu that kept his fever very high. He was bedridden and MIGHT be back on thursday if he felt well enough. As we spoke of this we all decided that if he came back on thursday and didn't look completely healed, we'd BEG him to go home and rest.
Community R is crazy, but our class is even crazier. We're also the ones who get the drama, but we don't care. Life is fun right? We embrace it tightly and enjoy ever minute of the never ending insanity. Closer than kin, crazier than a psychopath, we watch out for each other and in the dark we sat close talking and playing, wishing Q was with us. Now we all wish, "get better soon Q!"

- Description: The day after yesterdays entry. A lock down drill, a moment of silence. We know what's wrong with Q but we're still worried. Please give me no sympathy for that is not what I seek from you nor pity. Just give a moment of silence.
