Sarah gave the man an annoyed look. “I told you I have to go. Why won’t you just leave me alone?”She snapped. He grabbed her arm and got up in her face. “Listen girly, if Big Joe don’t get what he came for, then they might not find yer body.”He slurred and Sarah smiled. “What you smiling fo-“He couldn’t finish his sentence for Sarah had kicked him and jumped back, now in a fighting stance. Big Joe lunged for her and staggered. He hadn’t quite gotten over his last hangover. Sarah dashed up behind him and put him in a headlock. “Now you’re going to give me what I came for and we will just leave it at that.” He didn’t look happy but pulled out a wad of bills and threw it on the floor. Sarah snatched it up and dashed out of the alley laughing in spite of herself. “now where did I put that list?” she searched her pockets and shrugged. “I guess shopping is done!”

It must have said “WISHING” at some point. She thought. Sarah focused on the contents of the box and picked out a small carving of two children sitting next to each other. The boy had his arm around his companion. “Very well” Eli said. Suddenly he kissed her. Sarah was shocked. When he was done she spoke. “Why did you do that?” she asked sharply. “I saw your thoughts. Wasn’t that your wish?” he asked puzzled. Sarah felt tears in her eyes but brushed them away. She got up and ran out of the shop. My first kiss. I always thought it would be from…
