It's hard to explain, but I think I might start a journal. I've always tried, but never actually followed through. Here goes nothing.
I woke up around 3pm today. I had stayed up until around ten last night, watching "True Blood" with brian. He needed to catch up, and I had made the sofa my bed for the past week. I think often of my current situation; I'm torn between 2 families, 2 homes, and 2 lives. I only get to stay here for 2 weeks this year. It slightly depresses me, because I truly do enjoy living here. I go back home in just a week. I don't really want to, but I know I have to. I also know that there is nothing wrong with "home." I'm safe, comfortable and taken care of there. I suppose it's the monotony of life that really gets me. oh well I'll just live for today I guess. Hopefully Brian heads to bed soon, but His Gamefly came in today, and he seems to be ultra absorbed in it. I just want to sleep,

I'm still awake. At this point, I can't decide wether or not I want to sleep. If I do happen to fall asleep, it will be around 3:00 pm when I wake up. and I really don't want to waste the days I have here. I feel... all too aware of how un-sleepy I am. I'm not nodding off or anything, however I do know that if I rolled over on the sofa, I would be out like a light. Dragon Ball Z is on... Goodnight. Or is it good morning?

Here I am, watching television. My mother is already in bed, apparently with a massive headache. She went to the spa earlier, and it helped her quite a bit, but there are some headaches that niether medication or physical therapy can shake off completely. This brings me to recall a headache I had had a few years back. The pain was so intense that I was sure that I was dying. An aroma suddenly hit my nose, it was the smell of my father's cologne. I felt instantly relieved. perhaps certain scents could relieve headaches. Oh well.

It was the same as usual today, sleeping in, waking up disoriented, listening to my sisters argue, etc. I learned of the compatibility between Vuze and My stepfathers PS3 today. I watched "kickass" and immediately upon seeing a billboard advertising pizza, I got the urge to have pizza. After searching the cupboards for anything remotely pizza ingrediently, I came across a frozen roll of paper thin dough, and an old jar of pasta sauce. I rinsed out a plastic container, broke up the dough, and added a bit of warm water. the flakey pieces slowly began to resemble a roll of dough, however, many parts were still frozen, so I added more water. The extra water was the straw that broke the camel's back. I had a soggy mound of dough. I proceeded to lay it on a cookie sheet I had covered with aluminum foil. My mother walked in, and explained that the pasta sauce had been weeks old, and the dough was probably years older, not to mention that it had become a slimy inedible ooze. After searching cars, sofas and cups, we headed to Food Lion and dumped ambushed the coinstar machine. as it turned out, we had rounded up about ten dollars in change. At 10:45 pm, Morgan and I went through the checkout with 2 red baron's frozen pizzas (Four cheese and pepperoni) and coconut pepperidge farms cake. not bad for a night of coin hunting. On the subject of coins, I am collector of old and rare coins. Tonight, I found a 1913 penny. This is the oldest penny I own, to my knowledge.

I know I went to walmart today, to get chicken. Morgan's eye doctor closed earlier than expected, so she ended up not getting her glasses. I woke her up at around 7 this morning so that we could perform a magic trick in which I read numbers off of a bill without ever seeing it. it's a pretty neat trick if I do say so myself. after napping for a couple of hours, I woke up and headed out to walmar. when we got home, we ate, and I started watching "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," of which I watched the first half before falling asleep. By no means was it a boring movie, but I had gotten little sleep last night.I woke up around eleven, and now I'm watching "Cool World." I'm sure y nap gave me enough energy to watch it all the way through.

Surprise! I'm awake a 5:43! My sleeping habits have drastically changed these past two weeks. I can't believe I'm going home on tuesday. I feel like I haven't been here long enough to be satisfied. I have a feeling Allison, my manager, scheduled me to work next wednesday. The grave thought of having to pay for college on my own is slowly creeping into my brain. I feel stressed with the fact that I'll be a whole new person within the next year.

Here I am, at the end of today wondering where my two week vacation went. Tomorrow will be filled with scrambling to find all of my stuff, and all the while, I'll stil be asking myself where this hole in the universe is that seems to let time seep out into the abyss (or perhaps, lack there of.) Today consisted of futile thoughts of simply giving up and staying here. I do however, have a future. And it's not even a bad future. within a couple of months, I'll be off to college, living with my friends, and hopefully, creating videos with them. I wish tomorrow would be one of those days that you see in the movies; I'll have to live it over and over until I "get it right," but instead of having to get it right, I get to decide when the next day comes. "Time waits for no man" perfectly describes the tone of my life right now. If time waits for no man, I'm just gonna have to try to catch that son of a b***h.
