God saw you were tired
a cure was not to be.
Slowly He stopped
your golden heart.
Closing your eyes
you said goodbye.
So with a powerful hand
He took
your little one
And brought you home
-Where you belong.

But little did we know
It would be so soon.
We thought we had
years ahead to plan for.
But that wasn’t God’s plan.
So with tear filled eyes
we watched you go.
Wishing we could
Make you stay.

But now we know
it wasn’t to be.
So heaven bound
We look above.
Just hoping to catch
A glance,
of the hole
in the floor of Heaven.
Where we can hopefully
Catch one last glance
Of your flawless face
We knew so well,

That’s now,
Watching over us.

I'm glad you guys like it!! I worked really hard on it, but sorry that's it's such a tear jerker...but then again that's par of the whole purpose of the poem to remember them..which does include to cry. But, thanks for the comments and votes!!
