hearts beat restlessly
as minds race
eyes wander aimlessly
tears threaten to fall

pain is etched into her face
sadness scars her smile
chaotic mess of so called faith
she's losing what she never had

hearts grow heavy
with eyes wide shut
drowning in sympathy
all tears in vain
