• I'm going down to the shore
    on my own
as life is such a bore,
    one I'd like to disown.

This is my haven from the world,
a place for me to think,
    where I'm not controlled,
a filling of my missing link.

This is where time stands still,
as I stare out into the sea,
where I go by my own free will,
even if I'm here against my parent's decree.

As I tell you about this place,
you might one day come along,
here where there is only grace,
in the place that I belong.
