Caught in an endless cycle
of loneliness and despair
Wondering
Wondering
What ever could be out there?
It comes and it goes
It leaves and returns
What ever could be out there?
It's happened once
It'll happen again
It'll all go back...beginning to end
You never see it's coming
You never know it's there
It just springs up on you
One day, unfair
It churns and it churns
And still you keep going
Down an abissful pit
So very unnerving
You ask yourself one day:
What ever could be out there?
Time goes by
And the cycle continues
This time it's harder to erase the menu
You seek a way out
A way to salvation
Only, there's no such thing
High and low
This way and that
You search for a clue
A clue you may find
A clue you may hate
A clue to help you find
What ever could be out there.
Years pass and you stay the same
Turning and churning
Like nothing has changed
A cycle you can't seem to escape
A cycle you retake
It leads you in the same path
Time and time again
But even you don't know
Hot to end this trend
Whatever the matter
Whatever the cause
You still don't know
What ever could be out there.
So the search continues
And the cycle grows
Giving new meaning
To and endless flow
Again and again
You fail to find
A way to deal
With the outside
So you turn your views
And you keep to yourself
To try and figure out
Your personal hell
Round and round you go
Where you stop
Who only knows?
It's sickening
It's redundant
It's completely out of wack
And still you keep on going
Wonder what ever could be out there?
One day you can't take it
One day you call it quits
That one day you'll never find
What ever could be out there
For you never thought to see
What was obvious to all
Or perhaps you couldn't understand
Perhaps you couldn't make it click
Whatever your reason
Whatever could have been
Is gone and lost forever
In a cycle that never ends

- Description: I think most of you will think this to be something out of the mind of an OCD individual and while that may very well be quite possible this raw emotion. The feeling of needing and not being able to have, you--rather I had--begin to obsess.
