Letter of a Traitor
When the world sets in a fiery blaze,
The heavy doubts we bear will faze.
Like the stars do when dawn nears,
Slowly we will throw the broken cheers.
Like a blazing sky we will quickly burn,
And all those who have curtly thrown us,
Shall face these loaded guns and turn,
So shall the future that they've shown us.
Claim my sorrows as we go down,
Bleed with me as the keys are thrown.
It is all but chains that bind us here,
But let our happiness be still dear.
For the future is just a word we say,
Nothing more that a dream to stay.
A plan with no notion of reality,
That questions our entire sanity.
The that hope we share is a chain to tie us,
So that we may not have to begin to fuss.
So that we may start believing in tomorrow.
But we know deep down there is only sorrow.
Take what ignorance you have left and go.
Pretend you never read this and make a show.
Lie to people that you have no thought,
Let them figure out what they've bought.
Close your open eyes and pretend that this,
Is all just a game and there is a nice bliss.
Sow your lips and never speak of letters,
So that they may never know their betters.
May I remind you that I asked you to stay,
And grab any blunted sword to join our fray.
May I tell you I gave you a choice to pick,
To let live or get the short end of the stick.
Do I have to tell you I asked for so little,
When the balance you had was brittle.
Do I have to write to you about things,
That are good or bad to a bird who sings.
So now fold this letter and remember,
You might not even get to see December.
So take a pen and write down what I ask.
You might even find joy in this small task.
I ask for just a gentle a nine figure number,
So I may not have to send them to slumber.
I do ask for these things in my second case,
So you will know who they won't ever chase.
Now the last you do is to seal this hole,
And say that there's nothing here I stole.
Turn a blind eye to the phantom over here.
So you won't see it stay and be ever clear.
I bid you a thank you for all that you've done.
And now let me show you the grace of fun.
A sparkle of life and no tears that will fall.
Just make sure in my rug there's no stall.
