• Autumn fun

    The autumn, with leaves of brown, red and gold

    Has nights long and very, very cold

    And yet many enjoy the crisp weather

    Except for many who sport feathers

    October thirty-first is the night of ghouls

    Who learn how to scare in horror schools

    All-Hollow's Eve comes during that night

    Where children dress up to give others a fright

    Candy, costumes, fun to behold

    And parties where scary stories are told

    The autumn is short, and before you realize, it is over

    Then winter, with the ice and snow, makes you want to stay with your dog Rover

    But before fall's leaves are dead and dry

    Go have fun, give life a try

    And I've run out of rhymes, so I'm off to get a new toy
