Oxymoron, bittersweet, half truth,
So many toxic poisons,
The one I chose was you.
Taunting, teasing, terrorizing,
Arrogantly antagonizing,
Strip me down, down to my soul,
You know you have complete control.
Festering fantasies and fancies,
You twist my passions about each way,
You may be the deviant,
But I'm the one who'll pay.
Indifferently intrusive,
You live under my skin,
My blood, my disease, my infection,
How am I to win?
Destructive deliverence,
Cold, concrete, and cruel,
Raptorious refinement,
I find it all in you.
Such seductive, suicidal sin,
Radiating from your soul,
I shall not sit much longer,
It's my turn to take control.
Enchanting ecstasy,
I extend to you,
Except to take it back,
Just like you would do.
This is where I leave you,
Unfulfilled and all alone,
You now know how it feels,
To have your victim steal the throne.

- Title: You Lose Control
- Artist: RainStation
- Description: I wrote this poem when I was at a very low point in my life. Almost a rant you might say. It's not actually about a specific person, which is what most people assume. It's really about not feeling like you have any control over your life. I hope you enjoy it!
