• Summer mornings are calm and peaceful
    Birds begin to chirp
    The flowers begin bloom
    Then the sun shines in to wash away all the gloom
    Dew still on rests on blades of grass
    But do not worry this will past

    Summer days are bright and warm
    With school out of the way to cause no harm
    But some days aren't as fun
    Especially if you get burnt by the sun

    Summer days are fun and cool
    Since we go to the pool
    Or find an old tree that we can rest under
    That casts a shadow which grants us slumber

    Summer nights glow with bright lights
    As this is the time when fire flies shine
    They sparkle high with the stars
    Flitting fluttering near and far

    Summer never lasts forever
    And even in the rainy weather
    I know that nothing can be better

    Even though summer can be hot
    I have not yet fogot
    All the lessons it has taught
