Three years that's all we have
To spend together
We should have eternity
But the Fates will not allow us this bliss
For now all is well
In our crazy mixed up world
Or so it seems
To the normal ones around
Who can not comprehend
That the end is near
We hide from them
For fear of rejection
Or for the fear
Of them subjecting
Us to terrible tortures
This world has yet to see
Every day is a struggle
Just for us to survive
Arrows and needles fly
To the vital points of our bodies
With every move we make
We are not safe now
But our time is coming
We will rise above
And be victorious
And in the end the normal ones
Will bow to us
Not by force but by choice
If they have not perished
But for now I can not comprehend
Why you stand beside me
You protect and guard me
As if I am a precious treasure
You have fought Death
To win me back from his embrace
And destroyed those
Who would dare to harm me
I place you in harms way daily
By just being near
And yet you still stand here
My only guess
For this phenomona
Is that you love me

- Title: Three Years
- Artist: Scarlette Nishidaki
- Description: Love can withstand anything. Even the end of the world. This poem is hard to explain, a few people I know should be able to pick out some referneces, but other than that I guess you cant ake your own meaning out of it.
