Being sold
Like toys a child's grown tired of
Young and old
It don't matter
Got no choice
We don't complain
Don't waste energy
That could be used for better things
I know we don't say it
But inside we all feel it
The question bubbles up in us
Ain't we people too?

- Title: Sold
- Artist: Saerwen Lothiriel
- Description: In history we had to write a poem about slave advertisements. I decided to write one from the point of view of a 'yellow girl' who was being sold in a mass slave auction. I am aware that I used incorrect grammar. That is because a slave in the 1800's wouldn't have been educated, by law (stupid moronic government)
