• It was midnight,
    Twilight to be exact
On such a cold frosty night
    A girl was attacked

No one knows what it was
    Except that it had jaws
As blood dripped from her neck
When we were about to check

    We tried all the tech
    To find the victim’s
    Murderer
    Everyone had suspicions
    And yet
    Millions were wrong

They thought it was the baker,
They thought it was the sailor,
They thought is was the card dealer,
They thought is was the mailer,
But day by day they were all wrong

    No one ever suspected
    The only one left
    To be so innocent
    Was the orphan.
    Who was always so pale
    Yet looked so devious.
People said that he did kind deeds.

    As time went by
    People noticed
    That he drank
    A red elixir.
    When did we notice?
The day before my brother was born.

People thought it was cranberry juice
    But a scientist knew
    Exactly what it was
    It was fresh blood.

    They tried garlic
    To scare him away.
    A night to close
    To a newborn baby’s day
The orphan knew his next target.

I was watching at the house
    My brother was the target.
I had all the things I needed
    To drive him away.

    I had a baby doll
Tthat looked like an actual baby
I put some of my blood in
And carried the baby past his house.

    He smelt the blood,
    He followed the scent
    I tried to prevent
him to catching the baby so soon.

I drove him to a cliff
I had to drop the baby
    Here and now,
Somehow he would go after the baby.

    He jumped towrd the baby
    Just barely
    He almost had the baby
    Just barely.

    I saved the baby
    Just barely
    When time almost ran out
    I had looken out.

    To save the baby
    My dear brother
    And my dear daughter
I tell a story of the twilight

    It happened once ago
    And although it is
    At the line of duty
    Things may be blurry.

    But so remember
    In the town of Lexemes
This may seem to be a myth
    Wherewith the myth
    Can come true.
