You fancy me mad, madmen know nothing.
Will you say I am mad?
Would a madman be so wise?
ALL IN VAIN, because Death in approaching.

I grew furious as I gazed upon it.
You mistake for madness.
It increased my fury.
ALL IN VAIN, because Death in approaching.

Terror must have been extreme.
He was stone dead.
Dismembered the corpse.
ALL IN VAIN, because Death in approaching.

For what now did I have to fear?
The deed so far done.
I grew very pale.
ALL IN VAIN, because Death in approaching.

I foamed, I raved, I swore.
Almighty God no, no!
Villains disassemble no more! I admit the deed!
ALL IN VAIN, because Death in approaching.

Well well well. this is a brilliant work if i've seen one. I personally love the tell tale heart story. lol. And its good to see such a nice poem written in connection with that story. You have plenty talant. Use it for fun once in a while. Good Luck!!
