• If only I had said "I do"
    If only I agreed,
    Now I have heart-rending guilt,
That no ice cream can feed.

It all started at brunch one day,
When we went out to eat,
He got on one knee and told me
    To get on my feet.

I suppose you know what happened next
But I suppose I will tell,
Because all you Brides-To-Be out there
    It might do you well.

    Out came a tiny box
    But people still could see,
    He opened it and said
    "Samantha Will you marry me?"

    There I was,in a dress
    As the ceremony began,
    I turned around and saw
    His mother Mary-Anne.

    I turned back and gulped,
And as he said "I do"
    I was so nervous
    That I needed the loo.

I realised it was my time
    He was looking at me,
And as I opened my mouth to speak
    I fainted so visibly.

I woke up in my bed,
There was a crowd of people there,
    I decided to say something
    That was only fair.

I took his hand and said
    "Brooklyn I love you,
    but at the same time
    I have other feelings too"

He looked at me and said
"So you don`t want to marry?"
    And behind him,shaking his head
    Was his father Gary.

I looked Brooklyn straight in the eye,
Shook my head and said "No"
    And then I realised that
    I was being so low.

So there you have my life,
    Ruined so far,
I will cry after I write this
    And munch a chocolate bar.

    I`M SORRY BROOKLYN!
