• Most Wonderful Dream

    Butterflies flutter with an anxious feeling
    As fingers dance across her shoulder.
    Realization whispers “it’s more than a fling”
    When he says all he wants to do is hold her.

    Eyes slowly open and two smiles stir
    In this bliss could it really be true?
    Hearts beating fast as if a purr
    Both asking “is this feeling because of you?”

    The question unanswered, brushed away
    But the hug gets tighter, smiles widen
    Heads spin with happiness hoped to stay
    Back off to dreamland both are taken

    And in their dreams, a harmony wished for
    Now believed possible... true love, a most wonderful dream.
