With ice in my heart
And with fire in my eyes
I was vividly conscious
Of the Pain that was inside
It felt great to be free
From the suspense of being blind
And I knew the consequences
Of the ring that was now mine

could do without the emotos lol Doesn't really say much. You should challenge yourself to write something deep, not just flowery. I know, you probably don't consider yourself a poet.....then again, its good writing....wouldn't call it good art though, I think that's what I'm trying to say. I'm going to give it a 5 cuz its still a 1 up from alot of the other poems on gaia.
