• I can hear my heart beat slowing
    my life is coming to an end
    i feel my eyelids closing
    when will my pain mend

    The light is coming closer and closer
    inside a darkened tunnel i fly
    the bricks are hard beneath my feet
    i hear the dreaded voices cry
    "come to me" they call

    Bright light engulfed my spirit
    shadows dance around me
    my deathly pain keeps getting worse
    as the hurt screaches inside me

    When i meet the tunnel's end it's bright
    my pain is being soothed
    but yet my mind is still filled with fright
    i believe my mind is being moved

    My love for life begins to deepen
    i wish i were still on flat ground
    but then i hear a soft sweet whisper
    and i hear my heart begin to pound

    I know that sound from across the tunnel
    a family member i've loved and loved
    i see the words he says floating in the air
    soft beautiful letters flying up above

    But then everything turns dark once more
    and everything goes black
    i try to see around but once i open my eyes
    all i know is i am lying on my back

    I try to kick my legs, but they wont go to far
    letting out a loud scream all i see is a womans dance
    i hear a voice inside my head
    "you have been reborn my child" it says
    "you have been given another chance"
